The only way to kill one was to either duke it out for half an hour while being a healer yourself or literially have a gank squad. Might I add.being a healer was the most overpowered class at the time. And then be able to compete against anything. :lolīasically you could mix a healer with any class, TKM, Fencer, Swordsman, Ranger, etc. And even then they only needed one second to remove your 2 minutes of work on them. Didn't even have to level the entire profession up to use them, You only need one side of the bar to learn using heals and another side for buffs, and another for creating them.īasically you could mix a healer with any class, TKM, Fencer, Swordsman, Ranger, etc. Creation system for them, Where what you put in dictated how powerful they would be. Fact they had value and you could sell them to others, And yes, it was extremely profitable You could become a tank against anything with good buffs, your own heals, and comp armour. You used ingredients to create buffs, which would enhance players for about 3 hours.and when I mean enhance. Rappelz and other free asian-like mmos: buffs and heals similar to lineage, nothing special. If it wasn't for those short buffs and that guitar I would still be playing this amazing game, but it was such a turn off. Healers have this stupid guitar that after a couple of days you get sick of the sound and turn off the volume just to keep playing. Buffs were too short, like 20 secs short, when I'm used to buffs lasting more than 20 minutes. Not limited by weapon so if you just wanted to play around you could just use a dagger or a bow and let some stress out. Lineage 2: good buffs spread around different healer classes, good group mechanics. That's about all I can think off right now. Efficiency of at least duoing if you do not prefer large parties all the time. How the healer fits in a party, large or small. Type of weapon allowed(blunt/staff only or if they let you carry whatever you want) What I usually look for in MMOs in terms of healer specific qualities are In your opinion, which MMO has the best or worst healer class?įor the last couple of years I've always played a healer for any mmo I've tried, and I'm wondering if there are better healer types in mmos I haven't played.
